Fry French Beans
Ingredients
- Hand full of French beans (about 30 strands)
- 2 clove of garlic, minced or chopped
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1/3 teaspoon sugar
- 2 table spoon cooking oil
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- Wash the French beans, and pluck out both tips. Do not use knife, using your fingers to break the tips, and pull off any fiber if it comes out along.
- Cut the pod slanting, to about 5cm length.
- Heat up the wok, put in the cooking oil, and garlic and fry till fragrance and very lightly browned.
- Add the French beans and salt and stir till beans turn darker green in color.
- add water, cover for 10 mins
- remove the cover, add sugar and soy sauce,
- Serve hot.
