Steam minced pork with tomatoes

 Ingredients

  1. 250 grams minced lean pork
  2. 1 teaspoon corn flour
  3. 1 table spoon sesame oil
  4. 2 table spoon soy sauce
  5. dash of pepper
  6. ½ teaspoon sugar
  7. 1 big tomatoe

Method

  1. Wash and slice the tomato into slices.
  2. Either you get ready minced pork, or you can get a piece of lean pork and minced it using your cleaver.  (cut into thin slice, and then chop repeatedly for about 5-10 mins.) 
  3. Place the pork on a steaming plate (stainless steel preferred).  Mixed in the corn flour, soya sauce, sesame oil, pepper, sugar and mixed well with a spoon.
  4. Spread the pork evenly flat on the plate. 
  5. Lay the tomatoes slices on the pork, covering as much surface as possible.
  6. Steam over high heat for 10 mins. (assuming the thickness of the spread is about 1-2 cm thick, if its thicker, add another 3-5 mins to the steaming). Alternatively steam over cooking rice (See cooking tips) (see picture of setup of steamer in a steel pot)
  7. Serve hot.
