{"id":292,"date":"2013-08-16T16:25:52","date_gmt":"2013-08-16T08:25:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/werynice.com\/home\/?p=292"},"modified":"2013-08-16T16:28:21","modified_gmt":"2013-08-16T08:28:21","slug":"pasta-with-mushroom-cream-sauce-pasta-al-funghi-vegetarian","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/werynice.com\/home\/?p=292","title":{"rendered":"Pasta with Mushroom Cream Sauce (Pasta Al Funghi &#8211; Vegetarian)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is an improved version of the same recipe posted earlier.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients (Serve 1)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol type=\"1\">\n<li>5 dry shitake mushroom<\/li>\n<li>3 clove of garlic<\/li>\n<li>250 ml full cream milk (or whipping cream milk for fuller texture)<\/li>\n<li>2 slice of cheese<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoon olive oil<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc teaspoon salt<\/li>\n<li>small cup of pasta (fusilli, spaghetti, linguine, penne, etc)<\/li>\n<li>1.5 litres of water to boiling the pasta<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup water to soak mushroom<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Method <\/strong><\/p>\n<ol type=\"1\">\n<li>Rinse the mushroom to remove any dirt, and soak mushroom in \u00bd cup water for 2 hours.<\/li>\n<li>Peel garlic, and chop finely, set aside.<\/li>\n<li>Take the mushroom out of the water, keep the water as it will be used later.\u00a0 Remove the mushroom\u00a0 stem of the mushroom, squeeze off water from the mushroom (collect the water back into the cup or bowl used to soak the mushroom) and slice thinly, set aside.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Bring a pot of water to boil, and add in the pasta and boil for the recommended time (on the packaging).\u00a0\u00a0 However, you can adjust the time depending on the softness of the pasta to your preference.<\/li>\n<li>Drain of water and set it aside.<\/li>\n<li>In a sauce pan or frying pan (I prefer using a sauce pan), heat up and add olive oil.\u00a0 When oil is heated up, add garlic into the oil and a quick stir to get the fragrant out, then add in the mushroom and stir. Let the content to fry for 1-2 mins in low heat (do not burn the garlic).\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Pour in the water used to soak the mushroom, and let it boil in high heat.\u00a0 Allow it to dry up slightly to about \u00bc cup of water or less (roughly).\u00a0 Add in milk and salt and allow it boil lightly.\u00a0 Add in cheese and allow it to melt (less than a minute).\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Off heat and add in the pasta and toss to mixed it up.<\/li>\n<li>Serve warm.<\/li>\n<li>Optional, may sprinkle some pine nuts, and also some cracked black pepper.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is an improved version of the same recipe posted earlier.
