I personally like it as it is not creamy as in cream sauce (although I like cream sauce too) or strong tasting as in tomato based sauce.\u00a0 I just had this for Christmas this year.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-242\" title=\"steak and seafood mushroom spaghetti\" src=\"http:\/\/werynice.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/steakandseafoodspagethi.jpg\" alt=\"steak and seafood mushroom spaghetti\" width=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/werynice.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/steakandseafoodspagethi.jpg 1127w, https:\/\/werynice.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/steakandseafoodspagethi-300x224.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1127px) 100vw, 1127px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients (Serve 2)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol type=\"1\">\n<li>\u00bc packet spaghetti<\/li>\n<li>5 garlic<\/li>\n<li>4 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil<\/li>\n<li>10-15 cherry tomatoes<\/li>\n<li>5 fresh button mushroom<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd red capsicum (if you like spicy, can replace this or add in red chilli)<\/li>\n<li>4-6 big prawns<\/li>\n<li>1 medium size squid<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon salt<\/li>\n<li>freshly cracked black pepper<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Method<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol type=\"1\">\n<li>Peel and chop up the garlic into small pieces or chucks if you like to bite them.<\/li>\n<li>Wash the cherry tomatoes.\u00a0 Wash and slice the mushroom.\u00a0 Remove the seed of capsicum and cut into small squares.<\/li>\n<li>Wash the squid and remove the head.\u00a0 Remove the back-bone of the squid (a transparent strip that runs along the length of the squid body.\u00a0 Remove the skin of the squid. (you can do it with your finger nails or a knife, scrape off a little and you can pull it off easily).\u00a0 For the squid head, cut away the eyes, and also squeeze out the &#8220;ball&#8221; from the mouth of the squid (its quite hard to eat).\u00a0 Cut into strips (for the body, you may also like to cut into rings).<\/li>\n<li>Wash the prawns.\u00a0 You may like to remove the shell or just leave them on. (I like to trim away the legs and also the tip of the head which is quite sharp.)<\/li>\n<li>Boil the spaghetti in a pot of water until the desired softness. Drained and set aside.\u00a0 Leave the pot of water boiling if you are proceeding to next step.<\/li>\n<li>Heat up a pan with medium heat, add in the olive oil, garlic, cherry tomato, mushroom, squid, prawn, capsicum, salt, and cracked black pepper, and stir briefly and cover for 5 mins.<\/li>\n<li>While the pan is cooking, put the spaghetti back in the boiling water for \u00bd to 1 mins, and drain again (so that it is hot and moist, not stick together)<\/li>\n<li>Optional: not part of this recipe, you can also pour in \u00bd cup of white wine into the pan and let it boil, it should taste good too.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the spaghetti into the pan and toss it.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Serve hot with some cracked black pepper on the side of the plate.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Optional: serve with a beef steak (recipe to be posted in another post).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Olio Aglio means stir fry with garlic and olive oil.
