{"id":208,"date":"2009-03-23T20:12:47","date_gmt":"2009-03-23T12:12:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/werynice.com\/home\/?p=208"},"modified":"2009-03-23T20:12:47","modified_gmt":"2009-03-23T12:12:47","slug":"spaghetti-olio-aglio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/werynice.com\/home\/?p=208","title":{"rendered":"Spaghetti Olio Aglio"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Aglio is simply garlic, and Olio means olive oil, so this is simply tossing garlic and oil with spaghetti, but I have added some more ingredients to make it taste better.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients (serve 2)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol type=\"1\">\n<li>\u00bc packet spaghetti<\/li>\n<li>5 garlic<\/li>\n<li>4 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil<\/li>\n<li>10-15 cherry tomatoes<\/li>\n<li>3-4 slices bacon<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon salt<\/li>\n<li>freshly cracked black pepper<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Method<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol type=\"1\">\n<li>Peel and chop up the garlic into small pieces or chucks if you like to bite them.<\/li>\n<li>Wash the cherry tomatoes.\u00a0 Cut the bacon into small pieces 1-2cm size.<\/li>\n<li>Boil the spaghetti in a pot of water until the desired softness. Drained and set aside.\u00a0 Leave the pot of water boiling if you are proceeding to next step.<\/li>\n<li>Heat up a pan with medium heat, add in the olive oil, garlic, cherry tomato, bacon, salt, cracked black pepper\u00a0 and stir briefly and cover for 5 mins.<\/li>\n<li>While the pan is cooking, put the spaghetti back in the boiling water for \u00bd to 1 mins, and drain again (so that it is hot and moist, not stick together)<\/li>\n<li>Pour the spaghetti into the pan and toss it.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Serve hot with some cracked black pepper on the side of the plate.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Aglio is simply garlic, and Olio means olive oil, so this is simply tossing garlic and oil with spaghetti, but I have added some more ingredients to make it taste better.
