{"id":149,"date":"2008-11-05T19:38:25","date_gmt":"2008-11-05T11:38:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/werynice.com\/home\/?p=149"},"modified":"2008-11-05T19:55:27","modified_gmt":"2008-11-05T11:55:27","slug":"steam-chicken-with-dang-gui-tou-%e5%bd%93%e5%bd%92%e5%a4%b4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/werynice.com\/home\/?p=149","title":{"rendered":"Steam chicken with Dang Gui Tou (\u5f53\u5f52\u5934)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dang Gui (\u5f53\u5f52) is highly respected in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). \u00a0It is commonly used to treat women&#8217;s problem, and it might be mistakenly that only women can eat it. \u00a0Be assured that men can take it too as it generally also helps to regulate the body functions.<\/p>\n<p>This is one of my favorite dish.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol type=\"1\">\n<li>\u00bd Chicken<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon Sesame oil<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd \u00a0tablespoon Soya sauce<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd teaspoon salt<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd tablespoon rice wine (hua tiao \u82b1\u96d5)<\/li>\n<li>5 slices of Dang Gui Tou (\u5f53\u5f52\u5934) (adjust the amount for stronger or weaker taste)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Method<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol type=\"1\">\n<li>Rub with chicken with salt, and wash and drain chicken, this will remove some unpleasant smell of the chicken.\u00a0 Cut into smaller chucks.<\/li>\n<li>Rub in with \u00bd teaspoon salt.
